Valentine’s Day Party - Monday February 14th! Everyone should bring a valentine for everyone in the class by Friday February 11th. We will be making Valentine Bags and passing Valentines out on Monday morning! Our afternoon party will involve cookie decorating, opening valentine cards and a game. If you need help with Valentine cards, please let me know!

We saw a bald eagle laying an egg - live!! It was amazing! All the kids cheered at the miracle! Now we are waiting to see if she lays more!
Our class just got this site and we all think it is fasinating!! We are hoping to see everything from nest building to egg hatching, banding and finally fledging (flying)! The DNR also has a great discussion that goes along with the real time video!! Enjoy:)
KIDS HAVE DREAMS - After learning about Dr Martin Luther King Jr we wrote our dreams for the world. The words you will see are the words of our first graders. It is truly amazing and touching how deep they think and how sophisticated yet simple their dreams are. Enjoy!

I hope you all enjoyed our Family Luncheon as much as the kids and I did! I always think it is nice way to bring us all together during this crazy time of year to stop and enjoy just being together! The food was fantastic too! I don’t think we’ve ever had such a tasty spread. Thank you all so much for making the time to come and share this special day with your child - it means more than you know! Enjoy the pictures:)
